How long do you have to release an individual’s car after being contacted by them?
Your state’s Department of Justice regulates this. In some states, towing companies must be able to release cars between the hours of 8AM and 6PM between Monday and Friday (except holidays) and within 60 minutes of receiving the request of the vehicle’s release.
